Ålesund and Towards Geiranger.

Ålesund
Ålesund is abig time, located along very sceic road on a narrow slip on land beteen to fjords. Unfortunally the time, the weather, and a rather heavy traffic prevented me from other than grabbing a burger on a fast food chain in the outskirts and a quick stop at the port. But I am planning to go back here in the future and hava look at the city and the Atlantic road.
At the first visit I just got here to see the sun slipping away under the horizon, but I did manage to photograph this car dealership.
Örskog
Örskog is a small town located in Storfjorden in a small bay roughly halfway From Ålesund to the ferry at Valldal. Here you have 2 choises to get there and I chose the coastal one. One of the highlights here is a imposing three story building in wood with loads of gingerbread, bay windows and balkonies. The house was hopefully undergoing renovation...
Along the road 650.
The road proved to be a mix of shore side road along with a few climbs over some hills. The area is still mountainous and very photo genic. The highet peak long the road is the 1253 meter high Jolgrötshornet near the lonely church of Stordal some 10 kilometer from Valldal.
