Classic Car Week 2001.

Rättvik, Sweden

You saw the engine of this car earlier, this is the rest of the car..

A restored 1946 Ford sneaked around, I have seen so many rods of this model that it is easy to forget how it looked like as it left the plant.

Another evidence that 1958 styling worked well with Caddies.

Another red and white '55 Bel Air..."

The rarest car was actually this, A ´69 Camaro Indy Pace car, looking like it just left the showroom.

...and another. A 55 in this configuration was allmost as common as a Volvo.

A showstopper sight, the both variations of the first year of Impalas gleeming in the night

Most entertaining place that night was at these ventors caravan. He sold diecast cars in various scales. and it was fun to see how people turned in to just kids in a few seconds, drooling...... Not just guys, the lady here was in market for model of a car to his hubby.

A moment later, this gentleman spotted the model of the Volvo PV544 in darkred. He stared at int ten minutes his wife as not that interested and tried to pry him off without any success. Finally he asked for the price for the model and after a look in the wallet, asked the her wife for a 500 cronor bill, she refused. He handed over his credit card and bought all three various models of the Volvo!, smiling from ear to ear..... His wife?, no she did not exactly smile....

What about me? I was lucky to haver my dads birthday, next day. and that darkred Volvo from Revell saved the day....

Next day in Orsa a friend showed up with a rare bird, a Neckar coach roof..
