Classic Car Week 2003.

Rättvik, Sweden

Another party wagon pic. The guy to the right is about having a full tank and still got three quarters of brewsky to finish...
'58 Impala is in my opinon perhaps the most taste ful car from GM cathaloque from 1958. It looks grat in allmost any color, as a coupe or as a rag top.

By this time of hour, I got a little desperate about to shoot that Shelby, no, it did not work here either..

Have patinece, don't panic, the moment will come.
Finally, a moment of lull on the cruising, at least an moment of unobscured view of the front, aim and shoot... got it, yeah! .

One of the highlights that night was this '32 Phord.

Rods and gas pumps makes a nice picture as with this '32 highboy.

A Ginetta, which were produced in Älvdalen not too far away in the county during the 1990.s. The car is based on Volvo parts which in combination of new light body gives the car very different appeal than the stock family car.

There were stock pony cars in numbers, the sun and the gas station in the background gives the image that very special treat on this image of 68 Camaro.

The europeans and customizing these, has been increasingly popular among the new generation of car enthusiasts and there are now quite a few firms that offers replacement part of number of cars.

The current fad among the wheels is slimmer tires and increased wheels. The white Volvo 850 took this to the max.

Party wagon from a Blazer.

This cars, Ford Anglia from early 60-es brings a lot of nostalgia for me, as they were common cars during my childhood. It is kind of funny reaction to see European cars from the era today, as they look so flimsy, with small tires and high and narrow bodies.

'69 Camaro in monocrome looks that is rare in Sweden. makes beast from any innocent looking car

No, there wer no hords of Panthers, but this single species was there allright.

'32 Highboys were more common, though absolutely not dominating the scene.

If there were a 4-wheel drive cars around, they would surely haul a load of at least 10 buddies and become party wagons.

A 1965 Corvette in red, in shade at one of the busy gas pumps.

the 4 wheeled vehicles were nout only ones go grazy from the heat, though in this case the problem was flooding..

If you would lie to have combination of rod and haul buddies, why not strech that ol' Plymonth and give it lower looks, all the customtricks and new paint.

The front of the same car, really slammed...

The rear end viewed of 1932 Ford shown earlier. Orange paint and yellow flames makes the car stand out from the crowd.

Back to the '65 vette. Yes, I got this thing with....

Another piece of personal nostalgia a 1968-71 modell Opel Commedore coupe. The Commedore shared the same most components with the cheaper Rekord, which were powered by a fourbanger unlike the Commedores six. My dad was at first a proud owner a Rekord coupe in silver. But all kinds of trouble made him sell the relatively new car.

I thought that this image is funy, the fire truck is not interested of the rising smoke a block away not from fire, but fromfrom burn outs...

There were only a pair of Ferraris, like this late model in blue. Sleak...!!!

...and this 328 GTB in red and 4 sale.

Black ragtop 'Vettes from the later days.... .

... as seen here with two different variations slook sleak in the dark.

One of the cult cars from the Brittish Isles are the Morris and Austin Minis. They were a huge success in Europe during the sixties, fired even more from winning of the Monte Carlo Rallye with a Mini Cooper.

In fact, supricingly this was the only Ford model A, I saw.

Now I am on the thin ice, though I like the 55-57 classic Chevies, the most handsome model of GM from that era is this, Buick Roadmaster converible. Here in tasteful black and red.

A nice early Mustang made it to the shade under a birch tree....

Same car & sight but only a slightly, and I mean slightly different angle.

This MoPar was sure the winner of the non 4WD class competion of party car, if they were a competion in this class. I hope that none had any mexican food, before hitting the road.

A basicly stock Ponchy rag top with roof down, a typical car, but not to typical to take picture of.

No, I am not bored with red Corvettes yet, thanx for the interest though....

Grazy from the heat, this time this white Pontiac.

I like the glare from the sun on the hood so much, that I waited a while to get this unobscured pic. Those of you who does not wash your cars, you will be missing this.

Back to rods, and to the 32 Tudoer shown earlier, here is the rear view.

Olds in two green paint from rear and...
