Maktens boningar Femunden. 2000.
Usually the eastern part of Norway is just a strech I have to pass to go the more scenic parts of the country,. Never the less, It has a lot to offer, while not beeing dramatic like the Romsdalen. The lake is Femunden and is the second largest in Norway.
Maktens boningar Maktens boningar. (The nest of the power) 2000.

View from the Port of Trondheim View from the Port of Trondheim. 2000
I allways liked my Röros 1 and looked for something like that, I came across this scene in Trondheim. There are few contraries, like the big city scenery, the upwards sloping street and bigger buildings. Additional details is the part of the costal ferry turned in to a restaurant and the architecture of the modern waterfront buildings resembling the older warehouses.
Romsdalshornet Romsdalshornet. 2001
In summer of 2000 I took a couple trips to Åndalsnes to get new ideas, photographs and inspiration. One of the landmarks in the area is Romsdalshornet. I took some minor liberties with the actual scene, I made the road in a slight upslope and replaced th waterplant to a more modest building at the curve. The dirt road and the morning shadows adds depth to the scene.
Trollveggen Trollveggen. 2001
Next to Romsdalshornet is the impressive Trollveggen. That is one step 1800 meters down to eternity. I like the way the mountain walls turned out towards the "Kodachrome" deep blue sky and the mist that adds more sence of grandour to the scene. It is one hundred per cent based on the actual photograph.
Gripsholm Gripsholm. 2001
The smallest town in Sweden is Mariefred at the shore of Lake Mälaren, of population of just above 2000. One of the reasons for the township was this large castled called Gripsholm. The town iself is a summer jewel, with old small town houses, a narrow gauge railroad museum, a beautyful park of Hjorthagen with a large population of deer in oak forrest. You can get there with a coal fired steamboat leaving from next to the city hall of Stockholm during the summer time at 10.00.
