Over the Friisvägen in fall 2004.
One great idea is if you are in the area is to spend one day to drive over Friisvägen to Atna, then follow the highway north to Alvdal and then drive to the Hjerrkinn near the Mount Snöhetta, the highest peak of Dovre mountain. Before reaching there you will be treated to the mountains of Rondaren each peaking over 200 meters. From Hjerrkinn, take to south down the pass to Dombås. Take the Vestside vegen all the way down to Ringebu. If you need a lunch break, you can allways cross the river to one of the towns, burroghs and village to have a break at any of the cafes or restaurants.
