Classic Car Week 2005.

Rättvik, Sweden

Accordingly the licese plate this pristine Dodge 1959 is a recent import.

In case you missed muscle cars here is one a mid sixties Chevelle, as the prices on gaz reached the roof I guess this is one of the reason why there was few less compared to last years.

Not to be uninclided Crown Victorias with glass roof still are among the most sought after vintage US-cars in Sweden.

There was a plenty of ate fifties cars from GM, like this 4 door HT from Buick in light blue.

Back to Corvettes, a early Stingray convertible.

Two years after introduction of the two seater Thunderbird the car was decied to blend in the Fords other models. Still as being a top model you could buy a cover to make the car look like a two seater and retain a certain amount of sporty looks. Unlike Corvette, the two seater original version was to compete with was not a sports car.

As a nice change from convertibles and Hard Tops a four door '59er. It is amaizing though being pretty much smae car the four door really looks like a family car.

Buick Cutlass convertible in pristine condition. Now guys, what happened top the chicks?

The interst seem to have shifted a bit in to fullsize convertibles from the sisxties, the license plate tells that this car in fine condition is a recent import.

To stand up to see a bit more is pretty unusual thing to do in a moving car. Perhaps the ride in this Cddie was so smooth.

Next in convertible parade is this 67 Impala in red and black interiour...

..followed by a early sixties Ford Comet, this car is also an late import.

...while we are at it, a C5 with the top down.

There was a few car from the thirties, but unfortunally Idid not catch up this ones orgin. But reflecting on the car seen behind it on the first image it is clear that the cars to day are way lower than some 70 years ago.

Morris Mini was a forerunner of the compact cars we see today, they were also with light weight and its four wheels at the corners havoc on racing scenes in the sixites in Europe.

There was a lot of green cars out that night like this Mopar.

A 1957 Ford Fairlane is in my opinion the most beautyful Ford from the fifties.

One of the nicer finds was this mid sixties Chevelle.

The late fifties *Vettes looks very much luxerious than earlier versions. The design changes did not just save the American Sportscar but also add sells enough to keep the magic to the models offered today.

More modern cars are not associated with customing, but this late norwegian plated Firebird was different with its poison green custom paint.

We saw it from behind, lets see the 58 'vette from the front.

The front that is so classic, a very neat mid sixites Pontiac Le Mans. I guess the car itself did not race there with success but the mention of that classic cirquet added greatly on sales.

It does allways take a lot of horse power to get the attention, Like this 1 hp three wheeled delivery moped, with some extra colorful details makes the perfcet batchallors party vehicle.

The following of the mid sixties cars are really catching up. The cars are getting more attention and as this Ford Fairline Rag Top in this mint condition are becoming exensive to buy.
