Some equipment.

Some of the modern and yet classic engines used untill today are Di 3, Di8, El14, El16, El18. And it is pretty easy to able to create most of the trains in H0 scale. Lima have been producing very basic versions of EL 13 B0-B0 electrics, including every paint schemes through out the years and EL14 also in every paint schemes. They also produce various versions of B3 and BF13, that has been a mainstay in all kinds passenger trains. In late 1990 Lima produced with NMJ a suberb model of B5 class passengercars, with versions to present BC 5 cars used on the line as first class cars and as a chaircar for the night trains and A3, more commonly used on Bergen-line.

Roco, has produced two versions of EL16.s, available in Norway hobby shops with four road number each. They have been producing a EL18 class engine, which in most respects though being a very fine models, but in details, expect the snowplows is based on the Swiss RE-460/465 engines. The differences are minor, mostly as the norwegian cabs are mirrow images of the Swiss-sisters. Roco also produced an exelent model of the ex DB V 60-class DI.5 engines with all the NSB modifications on. I have seen the earlier version of DI.2 used in Dombås, but I believe No one would protest too loudly to see a DI.5 on the yard duties. And more on diesels, Heljan produces a DI.3 and Roco will produce also a DI.3 in fall of 2001.
