In the Background, the former living quarters for the staff. The house serves today as a holiday cottage.

Much has changed since my first regonisal visit. Back then, much of the buildings were in pretty bad shape, the buildings were in desperate need of new paint, The platforms were about turn back to the mother nature. The tracks today are crying for a tie replacement project, in some cases the ties has ceased to exist. But never the less a visit gives some great wealth of information on railroading some 50 - 60 years ago. The area may not longer be populated by humans, but there is a rich population of mosquitos.

The images here show how the site loks today, long after the track is removed. The station building is a private home.

The station building.

The view from the parareling dirt road, the former right of way, was just left of the road. The building is the station and the yard was located to left of the structure.

A view from east facing the street side of the station building, note the former freight shed built as a wing to the structure and the former site of the yard behind it.

The outhouse with rest rooms.

A tele view of the building facing the yard.

Another view of the outside.
